Empire Music Company is offering cash and other exciting prizes in our continuing search for new creative talent. Everyone who uses our service is automatically entered. The individual prizes are as follows: FIRST PRIZE: $100.00 in cash and additional prizes: 1. A professional full band recording of one song. Includes composing and arranging of music, if necessary. The recording on CD will include vocal, harmony vocal, guitars, drums, bass and other instruments, depending on the producer's judgement. You will receive a compact disc and a copy of the lead sheet. 2. Your song lyric will be published on empiremusicco.com for 12 months. (Total Value up to $418.00) SECOND PRIZE: $50.00 cash and the additional prizes listed above. (Total Value up to $368.00) THIRD PRIZE: $25.00 cash and the additional prizes listed above. (Total Value up to $343.00) SEVEN HONORABLE MENTIONS will be acknowledged for creative talent. All winners will receive an award certificate to proudly display their achievement. The winners' names will be listed on the Empire Music Company's Internet site. Total Value of all prizes to be awarded in this round over $1300.00. Official Rules: 1. No entry form or entry fee is required. You are automatically entered upon using our recording service. 2. No purchase required. However, if you do not use our recording service, you must send us a lead sheet and CD recording of your entry by first class mail. Your material will not be returned. All entries will be discarded at the conclusion of the contest. You will not be notified unless you are a winner. 3. Contestant must own all rights to their work, and it must be original. 4. Employees of Empire Music Company and their families are not eligible. 5. The decision of the judges are final. 6. No transfer or substitution of prizes permitted. Divisions of prizes among co-authors is the responsibility of winners. Prize will be awarded to the first person named on the lead sheet. Taxes are the responsibility of winners. Winners will be notified by mail and must sign an affidavit of eligibilty/liability/publicity release within 14 days of notification date. Failure to sign will result in disqualification. By accepting the prize, the winner gives Empire Music Company permission to use winner's name for future advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
